Wisdom has secured a complete victory for a renowned Japanese fashion brand in a trademark opposition proceeding against a Taiwanese company.

Acting on behalf of the client, Wisdom filed an opposition against the registration of a trademark owned by the Taiwanese company. The Taiwan Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) sustained the opposition and revoked the registration. The company subsequently challenged TIPO’s decision in administrative litigation; however, the Intellectual Property and Commercial Court dismissed the action in its entirety (2026 Xing Shang Su Zi No. 16 Administrative Judgment). Through this favorable outcome, Wisdom successfully defended our client’s trademark rights and helped protect its brand identity in Taiwan.
