Wisdom represents a Japanese company and filed a criminal complaint for violating trade secrets against two Taiwanese companies and their representative (the Defendants). The client had engaged the Defendants to manufacture machine products. However, the Defendants breached the non-disclosure agreement and sold the products to third parties when the OEM relationship was still active. We also submitted additional statements to further convince the prosecutor to conduct a search and seizure in order to obtain the key evidence.

Finally, the Taichung District Prosecutors Office agreed with our opinion and led a search and seizure operation at the Defendants’ office and their representative’s residence. In August 2023, the Prosecutors Office has formally indicted the Defendants.
