“Taiwan Patent Practice Guide” is a practical guide for professionals and enterprises in Japan that provides detailed insight to the current patent practice in Taiwan.

Following an overview of the Taiwan patent system in Chapter 1, Chapter 2, 3, and 4 further provide detailed descriptions of the application of invention, utility model, and design patents respectively. Chapter 2 is especially helpful even for those who are not familiar with the practical aspect of patent applications for its comprehensive explanation on examination, adjudication, and infringement litigations. Moreover, recent court cases are introduced in this compact guide, which provide the reader with a clear comparison between the adjudication principles and actual rulings of the court.

The guide serves as a handy manual not only for beginners of patent practice in Taiwan, but also those who are responsible for patent applications in all fields of technology.
