Our firm was invited by the Foundation for Intellectual Property, commissioned by the Japan Patent Office (JPO), to participate in an interview for the “Trademark Research Report on Fees and Other Policies Concerning Designated Goods and Services and Application Support Tools for Improving Examination Efficiency and Supporting User Applications” , which was published by JPO in April 2022. We shared our knowledge and experience in the examination of designated goods and services for Taiwan trademarks, official fee policies, and the electronic application system. The report compares the trademark practice in a total of 10 jurisdictions, namely the US, EU, China, South Korea, UK, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, New Zealand, and Brazil. We are honored to have been invited to take part in this informative report.
